UKVI Visa Fee + IHS (paid online)
Paid at gov.uk using an international Visa or Mastercard. Enable international online payments on your card before applying. Some Pakistani banks block international online transactions by default — call your bank to enable it.
Currency conversion tips
Your bank converts at the interbank rate plus a spread. Rates fluctuate daily — the PKR figures in this guide are approximate. Budget a 5–10% buffer above the calculated PKR amount to account for exchange rate movements.
VFS charges (paid at appointment or online)
VFS service charges are paid either when booking your appointment online or at the VFS centre. Accepted payment methods vary by location — check the VFS Pakistan website for the latest options.
TB test fee (paid at IOM clinic)
